Disada Productions Attends the Ottawa Comic Jam!!

I had the pleasure of attending the Ottawa Comic Jam recently. On the
last Wednesday of each month except December, comic artists and fans
gather to draw comics and talk shop. There are both professionals and
dedicated fans attending and drawing. There were fifteen people on the
evening I attended, a good turnout given it was summertime.

The comic jam has been going on for over three years now, and is held
at the Shanghai Restaurant at 651 Somerset Avenue in the Chinese
district of Ottawa which has superb restaurants. Each person can order
(or not) whatever they like during the 7:00 to 9:30 PM event, paying
their own way. There is no entry fee.

The Ottawa Comic Jam was started by Suzanne Marsden, who lives and
draws in Ottawa. I first met her in 1997 and have always found her as
dedicated as she is talented to art and comics. If you like to draw,
